How to Create a Google Form With Images in it

1. Go to your Google Drive

2. Click on Create or New.

3. Click on Google Forms.

4. If you want to change the theme.
    a. Click on change theme.
    b.  Find the form that you like.
    c. Click on the form.
    d. Click on the word Customize~ now you can change the picture to match it to what you want.

    e. Click on Header Image then click on Change Image
         i. click on upload to add a picture that you already have.
        ii. if you click on title you can change the font, color and size.
        ii. you can also change the background as well.

5. Now click on Edit Questions.

Basic 101-
Adding a slide
When you are on the very first slide you can do it two ways.
1. click on the blue arrow
2. click on the following icon



To Delete a slide do one of the following:
1. click on the slide you want and hit the delete button OR
2. Click on the following icon on the tool bar



Camera





There are 4 different ways that you can use it.
Take a whole screen shot.
Capture part of the screen like we do with command/shift/4
Capture just a website window
Then draw around a picture or object that you want to use.

When you click on options this is what you have:






















Gallery  is where you find all of your clip art, interactive files, venn diagrams and more!









The MAGIC PEN is GREAT!!!

  Let's start with that...

 Did you know that it can do the following?
 1. The ink can disappear

 2. By drawing a circle with it you can spotlight things?




 3. If you draw a square you can zoom things in?
There are also different types of pens:

1. Shapes pen-  it will recognize shapes that you draw.
2. Creative Pen- is really cool.

DUAL PAGE DISPLAY- is also know as split screen

Click on the screen and click on Dual Page Display.
When you do it will display to pages at once.
This is what my screen looks like with 2 pages side by side. 


Here are two other views.


Insert a hyperlink:
If you want the web link to show then paste it on the screen, highlight it, click on the triangle down, then click on the word link,  in the address section paste the website.  Then click on insert click. When you do you will have the screen pop back up and on the screen you will see a little planet earth show up under your website.  That is what you will click on to go to the website.

Another way
Words- if you want to have words on the page do the same thing.  Type the words.  Go to the website.  Copy the link.  Then go back to NoteBook, click on the triangle pointing down, click on link, paste the link, then click on insert link and you will see an Earth again.

Pictures, clip art, or images 
1. Insert the image
2. Highlight the image
3. Go to the website  
4. Copy the link 
5. Then go back to NoteBook, click on the triangle pointing down,
6. Paste the link, 
7. Launch by clicking OBJECT
8. Insert link
9. The original screen will appear 
10. Click  on your picture, clip art or image and it will take you to your link.


Customizing your toolbar


In the upper right hand corner click on the gear.  

We do not have this....
This is classroom audio systems.  

This one clears all that you have written with ALL pens. So you do NOT have to erase the board with drawing a circle and tapping the center.
Clear Page takes EVERYTHING off of it.  That means your links, clipart, EVERYTHING!
There are MANY more that you can add.... it is all up to you!

OBJECT ANIMATION!
click on the triangle 
click on properties
click on object animation
Type
direction
speed
when it occurs
Pick if you want it to repeat

Sound
you can insert sound as well
If you insert a sound make sure you own it or it was a FREE download. :)

Mirror Imaging your MacBook and SmartBoard
f your smartboard and computer screen do not match with the same picture do the following:
Go to system preferences
Click on Displays
Click on arrangement
Click on the box in the bottom left Mirror image.
Now the picture on your screen and computer should match.
If they do not,  then click on the button that says Detect Displays.
If your pens are not writing on the board make sure that your pen trays are clear of dust.  If you have an interactive board make sure there is no dust on the sensors on the sides.  
To make your smartboard and computer "talk" to each other.
Go to finder 
Type in the word SMART settings you will see this symbol by the words
The following screen should pop up 
Click on the words Connection Wizard beside this symbol.
You will now see the following screen pop up.
Click on Continue.
If you have an older board then you have a 600 series.
If you have a new board that is dual touch.  Then you have a 800 series interactive whiteboard.
Make sure that you have USB connection checked. 
Click continue.
  Your cable is the correct length.  You do not need to worry about this.  Continue on. Please do this step. It is important. Then click continue.
If you have a 600 series- you should have a green light and be connected.
If you have an 800 series and you are still not connected continue on.
This next picture is for Dual Touch Boards only
You should have a green light now.
If you do not turn off you computer. Turn it back on and see if it reconnects.  If it does not.

Flubaroo

Let's watch a video to find out how Flubaroo works!
It is absolutely great and will be a great resource for you to use for students in RTI Level 2!



Here is how to create an account for your class.

1. Go to Google and sign into your account.

2. Go to Google Drive.

3. Click on Create or New depending on which version of Drive you have.

4. Click on Google Sheets.

5. Now click on Add Ons.

6.  Type in Flubaroo.

7.  Now you are going to be back and create a new item.  You are going to create a new form.

8.  This form will be your quiz for your students.  

 Here is a sample quiz that with 5 questions that I have created that can be used in class!

Now here are directions on how to create an answer sheet for your quiz.

1. Open up the form as a student would, fill it out with the correct answers and submit it. Be sure to enter your name too, so you can identify this entry later on as the answer key. 

To get to the live form, you can click the "View Live Form" button in the form editor, or choose "Form > Go to live form" from within the destination spreadsheet.


Now let's assign the quiz to your students! :)
Post a link to the form on your class website, or email the link to your class. As students submit, their responses will show up in the spreadsheet, which will look something like this:
